So, what is the secret behind the Aulora Kodenshi Pants? 

First things first. Why start with pants?

Well, do you know that our legs are our second heart? The soleus muscles in our legs are actually so critical in returning blood to the heart.

According to Dr. Kenneth McLeod, who has done extensive research on this subject and done clinical studies for 10 years,

“The cardiovascular system should be viewed as a two-pump system where the cardiac muscle (the heart) circulates blood, and the soleus muscles return pooled blood and lymphatic fluid back to the heart. In the absence of adequate fluid return to the heart, the cardiac muscles cannot operate effectively.

Insufficient fluid return to the heart is indicated by symptoms such as swollen ankles, painful joints, varicose veins and venous insufficiency, nighttime leg cramps, venous ulcers, poor wound healing, and osteoporosis. Can you imagine that?

I never knew that poor blood circulation can cause weight gain!

Basically, we depend on our soleus muscles (calf muscles) to pump blood back up our body because our hearts cannot do it alone efficiently, especially with the sedentary lifestyle most of us live – sitting for long periods of time, and not doing enough movement and daily physical exercise.

 Dr. McLeod’s studies show that within 30 minutes of sitting quietly, about 15% of our total blood volume pool into the veins in our legs and another 15% into the surrounding tissues. This results in a 30% decrease in blood volume and a corresponding 30% decrease in cardiac output. This poor blood circulation causes a significant reduction in the amount of oxygen and nutrients delivered throughout our body.

What is it made of?
