One of the secrets to becoming a great musician is to build your skill in keeping steady beats. This lesson will help your children get started on that!

The human voice is such a unique and expressive musical instrument. When we unlock the children's confidence and joy in singing, we simultaneously unlock the musical skills they need when they pick up another musical instrument later on, such as the piano, violin, guitar, drums and others! This is the reason why these beginning foundation lessons involve a lot of singing! :D

As the great music educator, Zoltan Kodaly, said:

"To teach a child an instrument without first giving him preparatory training and without developing singing, reading and dictating to the highest level along with the playing is to build upon sand."

A SECRET TEACHING TIP FOR PARENTS:

Sometimes, children will not readily want to sing or do the activities when requested. Worry not, just play the video for them at least once or twice a day. Don't be surprised, they'll actually absorb what they listen to. And one day, they will demonstrate their ability to keep accurate pitch and rhythm even without being told.
